The Arolla Pine Trail offers many opportunities to explore the arolla pine population on the Patscherkofel and is also the largest in the Alpine region, which makes it unique.

Starting point is the Patscherkofelbahn mountain station heading east on the Zirbenweg. Via Boscheben Inn to the Tulfein Inn and to the mountain station of Glungezerbahn. Return from the mountain station of Glungezerbahn to the valley station. Return to the Patscherkofelbahn by bus, VVT line 540/530. Also possible in the opposite direction.

Starting point is the Patscherkofelbahn mountain station heading east on the Zirbenweg as far as Boscheben. Continue on the panoramic way Jochleitensteig trail as far as the turnoff to the summit. Return from the summit to the mountain station via the forest path.

Alternative: The opposite direction: start at middle station via Patscher Alm to the Hochmahdalm (Vital Trail), on to the summit, Boscheben and the mountain station. (Difference in altitude: Ascent 540m / Descent 340m, Duration: 3.5 hours, Distance: 9.6 kilometers)

Starting point is the Patscherkofelbahn mountain station heading east on the Zirbenweg as far as Boscheben. Continue for approx. 1 km in the direction of the Tulfein Alm. Bear left at the turnoff following the directions to Issboden. Return to the mountain station via the Sistranser Alm and Lanser Alm.

Alternative: Descending from the Lanser Alm via Heiligwasser to the valley station. (Difference in altitude: Ascent 310m / Descent 1,290m, Duration: 3.5 hours, Distance: 9.6km)
