Sun only in between. At least temporary sleet or snow showers from the early morning till until early morning should be expected, the clouds remain dense. From during forenoon till during afternoon, it will be mostly cloudy or overcast. From during late evening by late evening, expect pretty clear skies! At midnight it is loosened up. Daily sum fresh snow in the order of 2 - 5 cm, snow line 1900 - 2200 m. Approximately 2 - 3 h sunshine duration. Wind 10 - 15 km/h from northeast, gusts up to 50 km/h. Temperatures 0 up to 4 °C.

Four ski touring routes in different degrees of difficulty

  • Olympic route: from the Patscherkofel cable car valley station via the piste to the mountain station (956 metres altitude)
  • Vitalweg: From the middle station of the Patscherkofel cable car via the Patscher Alm, Hochmahdalm to the top station (250 metres in altitude)
  • Forest trail: From the middle station of the Patscherkofel cable car, first via piste 3a and then into the forest to the top station (250 m altitude difference).
  • Summit route: From the top station of the Patscherkofel cable car to the summit (280 metres in altitude)

Every Thursday the pistes remain open until 10.00 pm for ski tourers. On all other days a secured descent is possible until 5.00 pm. After this time the pistes are closed, there is no danger protection.

Changing facilities are available at the mountain station of the Patscherkofel cable car and in the summit parlour.
